‘In / On the tree’ 這個話題其實引發過不少辯論。在小學階段，我們可以簡單歸納為：

生長在樹上便是 ‘on the tree’，如：
There are many apples/flowers on the tree.

從外面進到樹叢裏便是 ‘in the tree’，如：
There are some birds/monkeys in the tree.
